How to install your eSIM on Android

Android phones vary a little by brand, but the flow is the same everywhere: add the eSIM, then switch mobile data to it when you land.

Scan the QR code

1. Open your eSIM email (or your FullBars account) on another screen so you can scan the QR with your phone.
2. On your Android, go to Settings → Connections → SIM manager → Add eSIM (Samsung) or Settings → Network & internet → SIMs → Add SIM → Download a SIM instead? (Pixel).
3. Choose Scan QR code and point the camera at your code.
4. Follow the prompts to download the eSIM.

No second screen? Use the manual code

Your email also includes a manual activation code (a long string starting LPA:1$...). On the Add eSIM screen, choose Enter activation code / Enter it manually and paste it in.

The two settings that matter

• SIM manager / SIMs → set Mobile data to your FullBars eSIM when you arrive.
• On the FullBars eSIM's settings, turn Data roaming ON. Travel eSIMs need this — it doesn't cost extra, your data is already paid for.

Your normal SIM can stay in for calls and texts. Your number and WhatsApp don't change.

When to install

Install before you fly, on wifi. The eSIM waits quietly until it meets a network at your destination.
