How to install your eSIM on iPhone

The quickest way is the install link in your FullBars email — on an iPhone it opens Apple's own setup screen directly, no QR scanning needed.

Option 1: the install link (easiest)

1. Open your eSIM email on the iPhone you're installing on.
2. Tap Install on iPhone.
3. Apple's setup screen opens — tap Allow, then Continue through the prompts.
4. When asked which line to use for Mobile Data, pick your new eSIM (only while you travel — see below).

Option 2: scan the QR code

If you opened the email on a different device (say, a laptop):

1. On your iPhone, go to Settings → Mobile Service → Add eSIM.
2. Tap Use QR Code and scan the code from your email or your FullBars account.
3. Follow the prompts.

The two settings that matter

After installing, check these — they're the difference between full bars and nothing:

• Settings → Mobile Service → Mobile Data → set to your FullBars eSIM when you arrive.
• Tap your FullBars eSIM → Data Roaming → ON. Travel eSIMs need this on. It doesn't cost extra — you've already paid for the data.

Keep your normal SIM turned on for calls and texts if you like — your number and WhatsApp stay exactly as they are.

When to install

Install before you fly, while you've got decent wifi. The eSIM sits dormant until it connects to a network at your destination.
