The capital, Hawalli, Salmiya, the airport and the coastal strip are all comprehensively covered. The desert interior toward the Iraqi and Saudi borders is thinner but the main highways hold up.
A working destination more than a holiday one
Kuwait sees relatively few leisure visitors compared with its Gulf neighbours — most arrivals are business travellers, expatriate workers or people visiting family.
That shapes what's useful. Reliable data for email, calls home and navigation matters more than sightseeing coverage. Kuwait City's road system is extensive and ring-road based, and getting around without maps is harder than the city's size suggests.

Summers here are genuinely extreme — temperatures above 50°C are recorded most years, and Kuwait has some of the hottest reliably measured weather on the planet. Between June and September most activity moves indoors to air-conditioned malls, and the practical effect for a visitor is that you'll be relying on maps to find your way around interiors and car parks rather than walking anywhere outside.

Is coverage good enough for working remotely?+
Yes. Kuwait City runs on 5G across both networks and coverage is comprehensive in the urban area. 10 GB at £17.99 is the sensible tier if you're tethering a laptop.
Do I need it for a short business trip?+
Hotel Wi-Fi will cover the desk work, but Kuwait City's ring-road layout makes navigation genuinely awkward without maps. 3 GB covers a week of getting about.
