The cheapest thing on the island
St Barts has a reputation, and it's an accurate one — this is among the most expensive places in the Caribbean for very nearly everything. Mobile data is the exception.
As an overseas collectivity of France, the island runs French networks at European rates. Your eSIM starts at £1.00, which is likely the least you'll spend on anything here all week.
Orange coverage on a small island
Your eSIM connects to Orange on 5G. St Barts is around 25 square kilometres, and coverage across the inhabited parts is comprehensive — Gustavia, Saint-Jean, Lorient, Grand Cul-de-Sac and Flamands are all well served.
The beaches at Saline and Gouverneur, reached down steep tracks, hold signal. The island is small and hilly enough that the odd dip behind a headland is the worst you'll encounter.
Arriving, and the St Martin connection
St Barts' airport is famously short and served by small aircraft from St Martin, or by ferry from there. Both routes mean passing through St Martin or Sint Maarten, neither of which is covered by this plan.
Expect a gap in coverage during the transfer. 1 GB at £1.00 covers a week here easily.

Questions, answered
Does this cover St Martin, where I change flights?+
No. St Martin's French side and Sint Maarten's Dutch side run separate networks, neither included here. You'll have a gap during the transfer, resuming once you land at St Barts.
Why is data so cheap here when everything else isn't?+
Because St Barts is a French overseas collectivity using French networks at European wholesale rates. The island's prices are its own affair — the mobile data genuinely isn't.
How do I install it?+
After checkout we email your eSIM and a QR code. Scan it in your phone's settings, switch the line on, and you're ready — do it before you fly and it activates when you land.
Will it work on my phone?+
Most phones from the last few years support eSIM (iPhone XS and newer, recent Samsung/Pixel). Check your phone in Settings, or use our compatibility checker.
When does my plan start?+
Validity counts from first connection in the destination, not from purchase — so you can buy and install early without wasting days.
Can I keep using my normal number?+
Yes. The eSIM is data-only and runs alongside your usual SIM, so calls and texts on your main number still work.
