FLOW across a scattered chain

Your eSIM connects to FLOW on 4G. The nation runs from St Vincent down through some 30 islands and cays to Union Island, and coverage varies considerably along it.

Kingstown and the south of St Vincent are well covered. Bequia, Canouan, Union Island and Mustique have coverage around the settlements. The Tobago Cays, being an uninhabited marine park, effectively do not.

Written for the sailors

Most visitors here are on a boat, and that changes what coverage means. You'll have signal in the anchorages at Admiralty Bay, Clifton and Charlestown, and lose it on the passages between.

Check weather and passage plans in harbour. Confirm customs clearance arrangements before you sail. If you're chartering, the base will brief you on this, but plan on VHF being your working communication at sea rather than a mobile connection.

How much data

This is one of the pricier destinations on our list, and you'll be out of coverage for a good part of a sailing trip. Buy small — 1 GB at £11.99 covers the harbour time on a week's charter for most crews.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Will I have signal sailing through the Grenadines?+

In the anchorages — Admiralty Bay, Clifton, Charlestown — yes. On passages between islands and out at the Tobago Cays, expect little or none. Plan on VHF at sea and do your weather checks in harbour.

How much data should I buy for a charter week?+

Less than you'd expect. You'll be offline for much of the sailing, so 1 GB usually covers the harbour time. It's a pricey destination, so there's no sense buying data you'll be out of range to use.

How do I install it?+

After checkout we email your eSIM and a QR code. Scan it in your phone's settings, switch the line on, and you're ready — do it before you fly and it activates when you land.

Will it work on my phone?+

Most phones from the last few years support eSIM (iPhone XS and newer, recent Samsung/Pixel). Check your phone in Settings, or use our compatibility checker.

When does my plan start?+

Validity counts from first connection in the destination, not from purchase — so you can buy and install early without wasting days.

Can I keep using my normal number?+

Yes. The eSIM is data-only and runs alongside your usual SIM, so calls and texts on your main number still work.
