Gabon protects an unusually large proportion of its territory in national parks, and Loango is the famous one — the place where forest elephants, buffalo and occasionally gorillas are seen on Atlantic beaches, and where humpbacks pass offshore.
There is essentially no mobile coverage in Loango or the other parks. Access is by light aircraft or long drives and boat transfers, and lodges arrange their own communications. Confirm everything from Libreville or Port-Gentil first.
