Jazz coverage
Your eSIM connects to Jazz on 4G, the largest network in the country. Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Multan are all well covered, as are the motorways linking them.
Coverage follows population and roads, so the Punjab plains and the main corridors are strong while Balochistan and the high north are far thinner.
The Karakoram Highway and the northern valleys
The KKH north from Islamabad through Gilgit to Hunza and the Khunjerab Pass is one of the great road journeys, and coverage along it is intermittent. Gilgit, Karimabad and the larger valley towns have signal; the passes and the stretches between them frequently don't.
Mountain weather closes this road, and landslides are common. Check conditions before you commit to a leg rather than relying on being able to look it up halfway up a valley.
How much data
A week in Lahore and Islamabad runs on 3 GB. A fortnight heading north to Hunza wants 5 GB at £6.99, though you'll spend a good part of the mountain leg out of coverage anyway.

Questions, answered
Do I need to register the eSIM with PTA?+
No. Registration requirements apply to SIMs purchased inside Pakistan. Your eSIM is provisioned before you travel and works on arrival with no forms.
Is there coverage on the Karakoram Highway?+
Intermittently. Gilgit, Karimabad and the larger valley towns have signal; the passes and long stretches between them don't. Check road conditions before each leg rather than mid-route.
How do I install it?+
After checkout we email your eSIM and a QR code. Scan it in your phone's settings, switch the line on, and you're ready — do it before you fly and it activates when you land.
Will it work on my phone?+
Most phones from the last few years support eSIM (iPhone XS and newer, recent Samsung/Pixel). Check your phone in Settings, or use our compatibility checker.
When does my plan start?+
Validity counts from first connection in the destination, not from purchase — so you can buy and install early without wasting days.
Can I keep using my normal number?+
Yes. The eSIM is data-only and runs alongside your usual SIM, so calls and texts on your main number still work.
