Telia and Tele2, and a country built online
Your eSIM connects to Telia Estonia and Tele2, both on 5G. Estonia has run most of its state online for two decades — voting, banking, prescriptions, tax returns — and the mobile infrastructure was built to match.
Coverage is genuinely comprehensive, including rural areas, the bogs and the islands. Saaremaa, Hiiumaa and Muhu are all well served, as is the Lahemaa national park.
Tallinn, and the ferry to Helsinki
Tallinn's old town is compact enough to navigate by eye, but the free public Wi-Fi that blankets much of Estonia means many visitors barely touch their allowance in the city.
The Helsinki ferry is the interesting case: it's a two-hour crossing, and you'll be on Estonian networks leaving and Finnish ones arriving. Your Estonia plan covers the first part only. If you're doing the day trip, check whether you need a Finland plan too, or consider the Europe plan which covers both.
How much data
A weekend in Tallinn runs easily on 1 GB at £1.00, helped along by the widespread free Wi-Fi. A week including the islands wants 3 GB. Remote workers should note Estonia is a comfortable place to work from — the 20 GB is £12.99.

Does it cover the ferry to Helsinki?+
Only the Estonian leg. Once you're closer to Finland you'll be on Finnish networks, which this plan doesn't cover. For a day trip, either add a Finland plan or use the Europe plan, which covers both.
Is coverage good on Saaremaa and the islands?+
Yes. Estonia's coverage is comprehensive including the islands and rural areas — Saaremaa, Hiiumaa and Muhu are all well served on the same nationwide plan.
How do I install it?+
