Sure across the island
Your eSIM connects to Sure on 5G. St Peter Port, St Sampson, the airport and the south coast are all well covered, as are the interior lanes.
As with Jersey, Guernsey is a Crown Dependency rather than part of the UK, and UK operators handle the Channel Islands inconsistently — some include them in domestic allowances, others charge roaming. Worth checking before you assume.
Herm, Sark and Alderney
Guernsey is the gateway to the smaller islands, and this is where it gets fiddly. Herm is a 20-minute boat ride and generally holds Guernsey coverage. Sark, famously car-free and a dark sky island, and Alderney to the north are further out and coverage varies.
The boats run to tidal and seasonal timetables and are weather-dependent. Confirm return crossings before you go — Sark in particular is not somewhere you want to be stuck overnight without a booking.
The cliff paths, and how much data
Guernsey's south coast cliff path runs the length of the island and is the main reason walkers come. Coverage along it is good, which is worth having given the drops.

Herm generally holds Guernsey coverage given how close it is. Sark and Alderney are further out and coverage varies — confirm your return boat before travelling, as the timetables are tidal, seasonal and weather-dependent.
What plan sizes are available?+
1 GB, 3 GB, 5 GB and 20 GB — there's no 10 GB tier for Guernsey. For most week-long visits, 3 GB is the sensible pick.
