Norway is outside the EU roaming zone
This catches people out every winter. Norway is not in the EU, and UK networks routinely exclude it from the Europe roaming bundles that cover Spain and France. Travellers assume they're covered, use their phone normally for a week of fjord photos, and come home to a bill that stings.

Is Norway included in my UK roaming allowance?+
Frequently not. Norway sits outside the EU and is commonly excluded from UK networks' Europe bundles, which is where the surprise bills come from. Check with your provider, or avoid it entirely with a plan from £1.00.
Will I have signal in the fjords and Lofoten?+
Generally yes — the fjord towns, the coastal route and the Lofoten islands are well covered, and many road tunnels have signal too. The high inland plateaus and far northern interior do not.
How do I install it?+
